Job Description

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the institution's vision, mission, and strategic goals
• Oversee long-term planning to ensure academic and operational sustainability
• Foster innovation in teaching, research, and community engagement

Academic Leadership

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality education and research programs
• Lead curriculum development and promote interdisciplinary collaboration
• Uphold academic standards and oversee the accreditation process

Administrative Oversight

• Manage the institution's budget, resources, and infrastructure
• Lead and supervise administrative and academic staff to ensure operational efficiency
• Develop and implement policies that support institutional growth and compliance

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary representative of the institution to external stakeholders
• Foster relationships with government bodies, industry leaders, alumni, and other partners
• Promote the institution's values and achievements locally and globally

Student and Faculty Welfare

• Ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for students and staff
• Address grievances and implement measures to enhance campus life
• Encourage faculty development and recognition of excellence in teaching and research

Governance and Accountability

• Report to the board of trustees or governing council on institutional performance
• Ensure transparency and accountability in decision-making processes
• Uphold ethical standards and foster a culture of integrity and respec

Requirement

• A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant field
• Academic qualifications aligned with the institution's focus
• At least 1015 years of experience in academia, with a proven record in leadership roles (e.g., Dean, Vice-Rector, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated expertise in academic administration, policy development, and strategic planning
• Ability to inspire and guide diverse teams toward achieving institutional goals
• Strategic thinking with a focus on innovation and excellence
• Deep understanding of higher education trends, challenges, and opportunities
• Commitment to advancing teaching, research, and community service
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management
• Experience with infrastructure planning and operational oversight
