Position: Bilingual Indonesian Generalist Expert — AI Safety

Type: Contract

Compensation: $18–$22/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write expert-level prompts in Indonesian across a range of sensitive subject areas
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations
• Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns. Document the reasoning behind your judgments
• Evaluate and strengthen how AI models handle sensitive topics in Indonesian
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in Indonesian. Business-level written English
• A Bachelor's degree, completed or in progress
• Strong written reasoning and a high level of attention to detail
• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information

Preferred

• Based in Indonesia or the wider Southeast Asia region
• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content
• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing
